The City of Naples is strongly encouraging all residents and guests of Naples to continue practicing social distancing and to wear face coverings while in public and in areas where social / physical distancing is difficult or cannot be accomplished. Members of the public attending meetings at City Council Chambers should practice social distancing and wear face coverings to protect themselves and others during the meeting and during breaks. City Council Chambers is set-up to provide the maximum number of attendees while adhering to social / physical distancing guidelines. Use of universal precautions, such as hand washing and respiratory etiquette are also encouraged. Using face coverings as a mitigation strategy has been proven to be effective in the reduction of community spread of Covid-19. To protect members of City Council, clear panels have been installed on the dais between each member’s seat. This will keep City Council safe while conducting important City of Naples business and enable the community to properly hear City Council decisions. Thank you for your continued support in local government and being socially responsible for you, your fellow neighbors and all community members.
