Naples Fire Interim Chief Phillip Pennington
Deputy Chief Phillip Pennington has been a member of the City of Naples Fire Department since September of 2015. He previously held the position of Deputy Chief of Emergency Management in the Administrative Bureau until he was assigned as Interim Chief when former Chief Pete Dimaria retired. Previous history in the fire and rescue service includes 21 years with the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department (Ret) and 6 years with Broward County Emergency Medical Services.
Over the course of his career Deputy Chief Pennington has worked through the ranks and has spent time learning the skills associated with these various positions. He is currently a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the Florida Fire Chiefs Association.
