Residents on GSBN will see an increase in traffic volume during the coming weeks and months as the County’s Emergency Berm Project gets underway on April 3.
There will be 200 trucks per day delivering the sand needed to restore the beaches from Park Shore to Gordon Pass. The sand haul will begin daily at 7:00 am and the project will start at the Naples Beach Club then
head south to 10th Avenue South then to 17th Avenue South before coming north to Horizon Way.
Construction of the berm along Park Shore and Moorings will start at the southern end by Doctor’s Pass and proceed north to Seagate. Andy Miller, the County Coastal Zone manager, says the project should be largely
completed by Memorial Day.
