NAPLES – City Council recognized the following Board members today at its Regular meeting:
Linda Black – Linda Black was appointed to the Community Services Advisory Board on March 4, 2009 and served for three three-year terms.
Mrs. Back was elected Vice Chair on May 12, 2015 and was elected Chair on May 31, 2016 and again on August 8, 2017.
Mrs. Black was appointed to the Citizens Police Review Board on April 20, 2011 and served for three three-year terms. She was elected Vice
Chair on October 30, 2014, and was elected Chair on November 30, 2016, and again on November 19, 2018.
In addition, Mrs. Black served on the Blue-Ribbon Committee which studied and made recommendations on the level of compensation for the Mayor and Council in 2013 and 2017 and
participated in the Police Department’s Citizens’ Police Academy in 2012.
Mrs. Black was recognized by the City Council and recognized as the 2017 Sam Noe award honoree.
David Feight – David Feight was appointed to the Planning Advisory Board on December 18, 2013 and served two three-year terms.
Mr. Feight was elected Vice Chair on May 13, 2015 and again on May 10, 2017; and he was elected Chair on May 9, 2018 and again on May 8, 2019.
Mr. Feight also served on the Blue-Ribbon Committee which studied and made recommendations on the level of compensation for the Mayor and Council in 2013 and 2017.
Mr. Feight was recognized by the City Council and recognized as the 2019 Sam Noe Award honoree.
