The Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, held a ribbon-cutting on November 18. We were able to catch up with Jay Newman, The Athens Group Chief Operating Officer, who stewarded the project from inception, through the City of Naples approvals and construction. Needless to say, Jay is very proud of their accomplishments.

Here’s what Jay told us:

“We are excited to share the latest news from the Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort.  We officially opened and welcomed our first guests on Monday, November 17 including local treasures HB’s and Sunset Bar. Guests at HB’s enjoy beachfront dining with an emphasis on seafood and an expansive wrap-around al fresco terrace while the coastal-inspired interiors offer spacious seating and magical views of the Gulf. Sunset Bar, the quintessential Golden Hour destination on the beach, mixes Old Naples nostalgia with elevated cocktails and small plates for relaxed evenings. There is no better place to enjoy Naples’s unsurpassed sunsets with family and friends.

We will be debuting an all-new dining concept with the resort’s signature Gulf view restaurant, The Merchant Room, by two-time James Beard Award-winning Chef Gavin Kaysen. With a New American Brasserie concept, the menu will feature in-house dry aged steaks and house-made pasta, along with the flavors of the Gulf coast. The Merchant Room is initially open for breakfast and lunch, expanding to dinner service in December. It too enjoys a charming al fresco dining experience.

Later this month, The Raquet Club will open featuring brand new Har-Tru tennis courts surrounded by lush landscaping.

Additional hotel amenities will be completed shortly after the opening. They include the Naples Trading Company, our gourmet grab-and-go market and beverage center featuring your favorite wines, coffees and teas; the Sanctuary Spa, the resort’s spa and  wellness center with 13-treatment rooms for massages and therapeutic experiences; and The Wager, a sports gastropub with private dining and a classic four-lane bowling alley.

The Gardens, the new Tom Fazio 18-hole golf course, will open in the fall of 2026 as its completion is limited by our construction access road that ensures there is no construction traffic in Coquina Sands from our development.

Following the City’s completion of its water line along Gulf Shore Boulevard North and its north outfall pump station in 8th Avenue North, the new Gulf Shore Boulevard North will fully open. New enhancements include landscaped medians; upgraded sidewalks with pavers; safer crosswalks with a new pedestrian warning light system; and new bike lanes on both sides of the boulevard. Lush landscaping featuring shade trees on GSBN and Oleander Drive further improve the pedestrian experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Naples Beach Club. Bring your friends and loved ones.”
