Sea turtle nesting season begins on May 1st and lasts until October 31st. During this time, sea turtles of various species visit the beaches of Collier County to lay their eggs and nest.
GSAC is committed to monitoring this year’s sea turtle hatchlings and reports on our coastlines to ensure our community is well-informed. If you have any beachfront properties, make sure to follow updates and ensure your residents are aware of the City of Naples Marine Turtle Protection Regulations. This is to prevent man-made threats that endanger this marine animal and disrupt their nesting season.
Download this guide from the City of Naples and share it with your neighbors. Let’s all work together to protect sea turtles!
